Established in 2019 in London, OZRUH is deeply inspired by the principles of evolution and diversity in nature, driving us to venture beyond the traditional confines of manual and analog human creativity. Our pursuit is aimed at harnessing the intrinsic diversity and richness offered by nature's evolutionary processes, proposing an architectural ethos that is pluralistic rather than idealistic.

PhilosophyWe design architecture to thrive in change, where disorder drives systems that continually redefine themselves. Our approach begins with novel material cycles, but its aim is broader: long-term, adaptive value that is enriched over time.
MethodologyWe work through algorithmic design and custom fabrication to develop systems that emerge from matter, not impose form onto it. By simulating physical behaviours - like erosion, aggregation, or decay - we grow architectures that adapt, recombine, and mature over time.
PresenceOur work has been exhibited at the Venice Biennale, Royal Academy of Arts, Barbican Centre, and the London Design Festival. This presence is supported by collaborations with leading institutions such as the AA School and ETH Zurich, and endorsed by the Design Council.
LeadershipOZRUH is led by Levent Ozruh, an architectural designer whose background in creative innovation has been shaped by research carried out through MIT, the Bartlett (UCL), and the European Space Agency. He leads the company in the divergent cultural applications of focused research in material systems, adaptive and open-ended architectures that evolve through change.

12 August 2025ANTI-RUIN Phase 2 to debut at the World Design Congress, Barbican Centre, 9–10 September.

Prototype models of ANTI-RUIN exhibited at the RA Summer Exhibition, curated by Farshid Moussavi OBE RA.

25 March 2025
Phase 1 structure of ANTI-RUIN to be displayed at the Turkish Pavilion, and its film documentary to be featured in the “Artificial” section of the Main Exhibition, at the Venice Biennale of Architecture 2025 (24 May – 23 November 2025).

It inverts architectural fragility by merging top-down design with bottom-up growth, using modular, reconfigurable blocks. SummarySecond generation of PRIMITIVES [1] extends the design family beyond its origins as nightstands, carrying the same recyclable quartz sand and high-resolution binder-jetting process into a broader spectrum of functions—from consoles and coffee tables to shelving systems. The forms retain the raw, archaic presence of P[1], yet now explore how repetition and rhythm can coexist with fluidity and continuity across varying scales and uses. Geometries are adapted rather than reinvented, preserving a shared genetic code that links each object to the next.

SummaryIn a raw and digital take on the original PRIMITIVES [1] series, this RnD work explores voxels - three-dimensional pixels - as the smallest units of a digital aggregate, akin to grains of sand in binder-jet 3D printing. Here, the material logic of quartz sand is reimagined in a purely digital realm, where form is defined not by texture but by the arrangement of particles themselves. Presented as a looping animation, it cycles through nine distinct states, each with roughly the same number of voxels, yet radically different configurations. Visual depth emerges from varying transparencies, where light passes differently according to curvatures in the form, producing shifting opacities and new spatial readings. In this way, quality is generated from quantity, and a finite set of elements becomes infinite through constant reconfiguration.
