Levent Ozruh, work done as part of 5th Year graduation project done at the Postgraduate Unit 20 of the MArch (RIBA Part 2) programme at the Bartlett - UCL.
The project presents an asteroid colonisation scenario, leveraging the advancements in agent-based additive manufacturing technologies. This approach draws on in-situ material re-utilisation concepts, which have piqued the interest of both NASA and ESA. The proposal introduces termite-like agent robots that excavate the asteroid and process its material for volumetric expansion.
